Dr. E. Jeffrey Donner specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of spine pain involving the entire spine, including the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacroiliac areas as well as all extremities and joints. He has 25 years of experience performing thousands of spinal and orthopedic surgeries including using many innovative surgical techniques to help patients suffering from disabling pain. He created the Colorado Spine Institute (CSI) in 2014, where he continues to serve the community with experience, innovative technology, and commitment to solving every patient’s spinal problems.
He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in the management of spinal disorders with a spine fellowship completed at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He has a unique qualification in that he was recently re-certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery via the spine specialist pathway but also through a very intensive certification with the American Board of Spine Surgery in 2014. He is the only spinal surgeon north of the Denver metro area to have dual board certification, which further defines his commitment to the spinal field and ability to understand and treat complex spinal problems.
